Our team of trainers is a great group of people that have come together because of their love of training animals and their people. We have greatly varied backgrounds, formal educations, and loads of life experiences! Combined together we strive to share our love of training and help build your "tool kit" for your pup while demystifying concepts. Each of us is dedicated (and addicted, let's be honest) to continuing education and regularly attend clinics and seminars as well as continuously pursue any learning avenues available to us to further our skills.

It was during college that Beth began to focus on dogs as a serious hobby. In the early 1990s, she'd seen the demonstrations of agility at Houston's Astrohall and was in love. With the idea of training for competitive sports in mind, she hunted for her first serious training partner and found that and much more in Isis, a wonderful German Shepherd Dog. Isis went on to compete at Elite levels in agility, become certified as a working K9 Search and Rescue team, and performed countless demos in SAR, Frisbee, agility, and obedience for many organizations.
Now Beth continues with her love of training animals and their people for a variety of disciplines. She has taught for retail corporations, high end training facilities, working dog seminars, and a wide variety of other venues. She regularly competes in conformation, agility, rally, and obedience with her personal and client dogs. Since 2001, Beth and her dogs have earned well over fifty titles in many venues and have been nationally ranked in three different sports (Agility, Rally, Conformation).
Beth was the obedience statistics editor for the Australian Shepherd AKC parent club for 6 years as well a contributing writer for the #1 AKC Breed Club Magazine, The Journal. In 2013, Beth earned the CPDT-KA (Certified Pet Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed) certification from that governing body.
Her main strengths are applied behavior modification in a specific situation coupled with quick assessment skills and conveying that information to people of different background and goals (code for: she excels at reading you, your dog and applying the applicable training you need to your specific situation).
