The idea of our dog working towards it's Championship is an exciting and daunting prospect. We have been on both sides of this: as a handler and an owner. Drachten strives to provide an experience like no other in the conformation show industry based upon our 20 years of experience in presenting and showing dogs at UKC, AKC, and ASCA conformation shows.
Dogs are kept as our own. We keep them in excellent facilities (or even our home!) with the idea that they get all the rest and relaxation they can while not on the road to help their immune systems recharge from the stress of travel and showing. Personalized attention and weekly veterinary check ups are the norm here to make sure everything is the best that it can be. Have you ever waited for an invoice from a handler? Frustrated at a lack of communication? Unsure how much a month of training ACTUALLY costs? Drachten aims to be as transparent as possible and provides information, billing, and other information online and in a timely matter. We are working hard to change this industry from what it is to one that we're proud to participate in at a gold standard level. |
